Important Safety Information
Your well-being is our priority, and before considering cold therapy, we ask you to prioritize your health. We strongly advise seeking guidance from your healthcare professional, especially if you have any existing health conditions.
Please refrain from engaging in cold therapy if you fall under any of the following categories: individuals under 18 years of age, pregnant women, those with a history of heart disease or high blood pressure, diabetes, neuropathy or retinal damage, wear a pacemaker, have a history of frostbite, open wounds, recent surgery, epilepsy, or any other health concerns or risks.
Cold therapy can significantly reduce your body's core temperature. Immersing in cold water can cause blood vessels to constrict and slow down blood flow, which, when combined with underlying health complications, may elevate your blood pressure and pose a higher risk of cardiac arrest or stroke.
Potential side effects of extended cold plunge usage include feeling intense cold, and in some cases, hypothermia, frostbite, tachycardia (rapid heartbeat), arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat), as well as allergic and anaphylactic shock.
Our Recommendation:
Despite potential side effects and warnings, when used correctly, cold therapy can offer various health benefits. We recommend starting with short durations, spending only a few minutes in the cold plunge initially, and gradually increasing the exposure time as your body adapts. Always listen to your body's signals and avoid pushing yourself beyond your limits. Remember, your safety is paramount, and seeking professional advice is vital before incorporating cold therapy into your routine.
How long Should I Stay in the Cold Plunge?
Examples of Cold Therapy Recommended Submersion Time:
1°C = 1min
3°C = 3min's
5°C = 5min's
10°C = 10min's
FAQ
Does it Keep Water Cold?
Yes. Our Cold Plunge is made with insulated PVC plastic and UV protected nylon Fabric to ensure that your water stays cold for longer periods.
How do you keep the water clean, and how often should it be changed?
To maintain water cleanliness, we recommend using chlorine or spa cleaning products. We also advise to change the water once every two weeks to ensure a consistently refreshing and hygienic experience for our customers.
Does it Include a Lid?
Yes it does!
Our Cold Plunge comes with an inflatable Thermo Lid that is great for keeping the water as cold as possible.
Is your Cold Plunge usable during winter?
Our Cold Plunge has been created with Canadian winters in mind so yes it is usable. In most cases only 2-3 inches of water freezes at the top so this just means free ice for you!
If it starts freezing more than that we would recommend changing the water just to be sure. Adding Epsom salts is also a good way to keep the water from freezing when it is very cold outside.
How Long does it Take to Fill Up?
With an average garden hose, our cold plunge fills up in about 5 to 8 minutes.
How Long is the Delivery?
Since our Elite Recovery Cold Plunge is custom made the delivery times are about 4-5 weeks.
Which Ice Bath model should I choose?
At the lowest cost, our Polar Plunge is our traditional portable. It's ideal if you're new to cold therapy and want to give it a try, or if you want a simple, portable option.
We designed our Elite Recovery for those looking for a premium setup at a reasonable cost. This could be the greatest option if you're thinking about upgrading to a chiller.

How Does Cold Therapy Work?
Cold therapy causes blood vessels to constrict, redirecting blood flow from extremities to the organs in order to protect the body's core temperature. This process reduces inflammation and helps with muscle soreness.
Cold exposure also prompts the release of endorphins, which act as natural painkillers and mood boosters. Once you exit the cold water, blood vessels dilate, enhancing blood flow and nutrient delivery to promote healing and recovery. Cold therapy can be beneficial for managing pain, accelerating recovery, and promoting well-being.
